Michael Cerda was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where his love for art started as a child when he would sit on his father’s lap and watch him doodle, sparking a curiosity for art. As a student of Graphic Design, and a passion for perfection in his work, he was the perfect person to design the Buena Suerte coffee bag, which means “good luck” in Spanish. With Michael’s art on our bags, we feel pretty lucky.

This place has FANTASTIC coffee. They brew their own coffee blends sourced from all Latin American countries. I believe they have 6 different blends. And wow— smooth and flavorful with great taste. It doesn’t taste burnt like Starbucks, yet it has rich flavor and is not watery like some other coffee companies. My favorite blend is Suavecito. It’s perfection! A+, I will never buy another brand again.

What’s café de olla?

Café de olla is a traditional Mexican coffee drink made by simmering ground coffee with piloncillo (unrefined cane sugar) and warm spices — usually cinnamon, and sometimes cloves, anise, or orange peel — in a clay pot (olla de barro).

 Is seating available for meetings or work?

We offer both indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting).
