Some of Jackson’s incredible work

OUR COLLAB

For Mucho Macho, our popular medium roast coffee, we worked with Jackson to create a strong and confident brand design that promotes a cultural-based pride in being proud of who you are. In life, confidence is everything and Jackson brings a full cup to every project he creates.

Using wide brush strokes and strong coloring, Jackson developed a look that is as instantly iconic as the coffee is fearlessly flavorful. Through a design that encompasses everything "mucho," you can harness his spirit to seize your Dia.

Q/A WITH JACKSON

  1. What inspires you?I love challenges. I see many parts of life as a challenge and I have come from humble beginnings in Brazil to now living the American dream as an artist in Miami. That pushes me to keep going and accomplish more.
  2. What advice do you have for up-and-coming artists trying to make it?I have always believed in myself and I try to teach others that it's one of the most important things to become successful. You have to believe in you. Personally, one of the most important things in my life was the support I had from my family.
  3. What accomplishments make you proud?l was awarded the 10th and 12th Graphic Design Biennial in Brazil. That was a big deal for me and a huge source of pride that pushed me to go even further. In addition, being awarded the “Certificate of Typographic Excellence” by Type Directors Club in NYC was incredible.

  4. How does Dia fuel your day?Seeing my work on the label of DIA's coffee is very inspiring. Seeing it every morning reminds me of what you can do when you work hard and put your mind, and passions, to work.
